Grandparents Day 2008 was on Friday the 17th. Grandpa and Grandma Bleeker came all the way from Iowa for a 5 day visit. While they were here we sure kept them hopping with soccer, fall festival, more soccer and some kitchen fun. I will include more on the next posts...stay tuned! lol As you can tell, Jaron was in "one-of-those-moods"...3 year olds....such fun...?
Again, here's Lauren showing Grandpa and Grandma Bleeker her star project. But this time I cut "I-want-all-the-attention" little brother out of the picture. JC sure was a pill but the day really wasn't about him and that may have been part of the problem.
Dayle showing her classroom and desk to her visitors. 2nd grade is the first year for desks and she has a very neat one! (Neater than her room, for sure!!!!!) They did a crossword together and Dayle gave them a bookmark and a few cards.
This is where you could find Jaron during the Grandparent's morning. He played with these foam letters and figures while we visited 2nd grade. During the 5th grade visit, we played on the playground. He was kinda feeling the "pips" and ended up going home early for a loooooooong nap that was verrrrrrrrry necessary! The Fall Festival was great and the weather was perfect. A very busy day that ended with an IN N OUT burger and milkshake....yummmmmmmm
