Cy comes to town

Last night we had the opportunity to go to an ISU tailgate tour in Sioux City. It was a lot more fun than we had even thought and we will make sure to not miss it next year.
Everyone was in as much ISU apparel that they could find. Here is Doc with Reese and her ISU cheer outfit. She was a BIG HIT with everyone as she walked around very brave and bold and oh so cute!
They had slides/bounce houses for the kids to play on. We did get them off for a minute to eat some concession stand food and to pick out one item from the ISU "store" but they slid and bounced the night away!
Here is the crew with Cy! We were really excited to meet up with Cy but as you can tell from the next picture, JC was probably the MOST excited about it!
Look at his smile! That is my boy! A true smile and complete joy in meeting Cy!
We had a cheerleader put a tatoo on Reese's cheek. She looks pretty happy about it, right? ha Eventually Doc had to hold her down and we did get one on her. She wasn't too impressed with her parents' decision but it sure looked cute!
JC and all the girls each got a poster with the football schedule and some football players autographs. He was pretty impressed with it and we have to hang it in his room today!
Here is B shooting some hoops with a few players. I think this shot bounced around and went in. Brooke won a door prize too. She got a set of coasters that have ISU on it. I thought they were pretty cool...she wanted a tshirt or something for her room.
Reese meeting Cy...she did cry a little but got over it and actually looked at the camera...no smiles this time but next year, maybe?
Lauren and her friend from SBL hung out most of the night. Kayla and her are pretty good buddies at school and therefore we didn't see much of Lauren as they ran around getting all the free stuff! Such fun!

All the kids doing a cheer with Cy...I think you can see JC and Dayle smiling at me but Lauren turned her back. You can see her pony tail in the front left corner. Behind Lauren is B holding Reeser but the cheer was short and I missed getting them all. They handed out the ISU knapsacks for every kid which had candy, tatoos, key chains and etc inside...the kids made a haul! We may have to start an ISU room in the house if this keeps up!
And he sleeps...the girls were in bed by 9 and JC snuggled up by Doc while we waited for the news. He loves that finger! I just hope it doesn't break anytime soon or we will be shopping for a new one online. Life is good...we LUV CY! Such good times!

BTW, I won a door prize too...two tickets to the ISU vs Army football game on September 26. I in turn handed them to Doc and said Happy Father's Day...hopefully he takes me!
