Sertoma Park fun

Last Monday we had a day off from school so we headed to Sertoma Park for some sledding. (5 minutes from our house) It was a "warm" 35 degrees and most of the good snow had turned to sheets of ice but the kids had a lot of fun. Reese cooperated enough for 2 whole hours. I took a few pics AND got the "Christmas card" picture I had been wanting to take. Hopefully now I will get a chance to create the card on the internet. Maybe by Valentine's day we should have something completed...

Lauren lookin' anxious to try out the big hill.
Big sister "Cookie" helping out Jaron...we all love how JC says Brooke's name.
Here he is half way down the hill and picking up speed...notice how he is laying down by now. BTW, that is Dayle in the background.
Finally stopping before the road (which runs to a parking lot), Jaron would get up and climb the hill all by himself. He did this many many times before Brooke had to help him up. He had so much fun and went to bed real easy that evening. One tired boy!
Brooke trying to fit on the sled!
My boy!
Dayle lookin' good yet as she later took a header into a sheet of ice. She looks pretty tough now but will heal nicely. No reason to be alarmed but she learned a valuable lesson about going down the hill head first. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!
My twins! Reese didn't spend much time on the snow but for a few pics. Of course, Lauren was close by and I couldn't help but take a few shots. They are good buddies and look great together!
