So after you look at the rest of the pics come back up here and take a look at Reese enjoying her first glimpse of the ocean with her Mom. She is so beautiful....remember the sand? Yep!? Found some in my jean pockets later...thanks Reese!)
Brooke had a tournament at San Luis Obispo this past weekend. Lauren, Reese and Mom went along. It was a great weekend filled with soccer, eating out, watching Olympics, and lots of girl talk. Boy, did we have fun!!!
The team lost 2 on Saturday and then regrouped to win on Sunday before we headed home. B's team is a really nice group of gals and the parents that I met were very friendly. Of course, they oooohed and ahhhhed over Reese and that scored big points with me!
B goin' for a stop! She played all positions but mostly forward and looked really really smart on the field. I just love to watch her play...she is one of the quickest girls on the team. Not that I am competitive or anything...hee hee
Lauren making Reese smile...which she does very well! We kept little one in the shade and she still got some sun. Bummer! It was cool enough that we kept her in sleepers which helped to keep the sun off the rest of her body. Her cheeks were a little red that night! :( Sorry Reese!
Sunday morning and a big "W"! SVU beat the Eclipse 2-0....yippeeee! B had a break away and ended up getting pushed over. Therefore we got a free shot which Maddie one-touched in for the first goal! Pretty cool...can you count that as an assist? We sure did!!!! :)
On the way home we made a quick stop at Avila Beach. It was a little crowded but we were there to have Reese meet the ocean and get some lunch so the crowds and horrible parking didn't matter much. We had some of the best fudge ever (and probably the most expensive too). Ask the girls...we want to go back...definitely!!
