First day of school was this morning...all in all it went pretty well. Reese was up at 6 ( like normal) so she was fed and dressed before the girls' alarm went off at 6:30. They were all up but sitting on their beds talking. We did get movin' and out the door for pics on time but Jaron just wasn't sure about all the backpacks and tennis shoes. He packed a snack and juice box in his red backpack and reminded us that his shoes AND his backpack were red. He then grabbed his magnifying glass (you can see the red handle in the picture) and we left for CVC.
Some of the 7th graders with big smiles and a few with thumbs up...that's a good sign!
Lauren by her cubby. She was pretty quiet but then again little bro Jaron, sleeping Reese, and a picture-snapping Mom don't make for a "cool" first day of school. Like!
Dayle at her very first desk. Last year they sat at tables so we will see how "organized" this desk stays...if it is anything like her room, we are all in for a treat! She was all smiles and gave Mrs. Hooyer a big hug. Typical Dayle...full of hugs and smiles!
