Tevelde's orchard is open! Our 2nd annual May picking is done!The kids love cherries and especially when they can pick them straight from the tree to their anxious mouths. Who can blame them?
Dayle found a plum that was "ripe"...most were pretty green. Last year they were ripe the same time as the cherries...guess we will head back next week (or whenever) they are ripe. By then the cherries will be loooooooooooong gone and we will need some more fresh fruit in the house!
Lauren had to try one too but the verdict is to head back next week. We love walking the orchards. Thanks teVelde's!
My baby boy lookin' awesome! He had soooooo much fun picking and kept running through the rows saying "Watch out for the dog poop!" Guess he thought the orchards are like our backyard...always watch out for those steamers!
