That's right! Dayle's team is called the "Cheetah Girls". No big surprise there except they are blue and Dayle didn't even come up with the name. She thought "The Jets" or "The Bluejays" would be better names but is very excited about being a CHEETAH GIRL once again.... #6 is shown above in a pre-game huddle/peptalk.
On the attack! Dayle started the game at forward and did pretty well. It waspretty hot and she was sure to drink her water and eat the grapes at halftime. We were also pleased to see that she is not the shortest one on the field.
Eat my dust! Dayle heads for the goal. She almost did make a goal late in the 3-0 loss but as for the above picture, no luck! One of "The Ladybugs" kicked it out of bounds before she got any closer. Bummer!
On the stop! One of Dayle's assests is her defensive-mind. (If that is even a word...) She is always protecting the goal even while she plays forward. Figure that out!? Anyway, put today's game in the books...a loss for the team but I think everyone learned something for next time. Maybe? At least they had fun and got to eat goldfish and gatorade after the game, right?
