So, to clarify...Jaron turned 3 on Tuesday. However, he insists that he turned 2. I guess that is not hard to expect when you know this little man. He is smart...too smart because we have talked and talked about turning 3 & what that brings. Underwear...toilets...big boy cups...no sippees...argg as a pirate says! Isn't it hard to grow up? lol
Grandma and Grandpa Harskamp sent $$$ for JC's gift and he knew exactly what he wanted....a pirate ship. He did get Harold the Helicopter for his Thomas the train set too but the pirate ship was tops in his book. It has a lot of moving parts and is pretty cool...even a cannon that shots 3 cannon balls. Thanks Gpa and Gma!
Brooke helped JC open part of his gift from us (more on Saturday)...remote control race cars. They are really cute and work great. The only problem is they take 50 batteries per car...jk I am sure I should have bought more. Lucky Target is around the corner...lol
Here is Jaron in his "instructional"mode or should I say mood. He can get so bossy with the girls. Like they don't know how to open a box. He sure was on a roll Tuesday...we let him go too. It was his birthday, right?
In the box from Sioux Center, was a personalized sleeping bag with matchbox cars from Grandma Bleeker. His cake will have matchbox cars on it Saturday...way 2 go Gma!
Also in the box from Sioux Center was a dairy set. As you can guess, this was a gift from Grandpa Bleeker. He is a vet and grew up on a dairy. Guess he wanted JC to start gettin' ready for those 5 AM chores...hee hee Soon enough Jaron will be following Greg around a dairy...as for now, JC can set up the 1/64 scale set. We may need a vet for these cows as I saw them all on the pirate ship this afternoon. Hope they can swim...lol
