Here are some of Brooke's biggest fans. They cheer loudly from the concession stand and try to run the hallways the entire game. Sure makes for interesting looks from the crowd. This picture is of my crew across the court watching from the hallway. Guess this is a better view than the bleachers!? Who knew?
Had to get a picture of the matts behind the hoops for posterity. Brooke has enjoyed her two years of basketball but probably just finished her last season participating. She will run cross country and track with soccer (of course!) in the future. Basketball was a good experience but this girl is better with her feet! Below I have included a few action shots from the last week. The first are against the Dutch from MOC/FV and the last are against LeMars.
Congratulations Brooke and the Warrior team! We are very proud of you all! It was a great season with more wins than losses and lots of learning in between. Now we head to the mall to buy track shoes and spikes. Good bye to this winter sport. We hope spring comes sooner than later or we may need snow shoes to run on the track!
