First Day of School

Our tradition of taking pics by the front door continues...over the past years the front doors seems to be changing (as well as our address)! We hope to keep this front door for quite some time. Although, it may change color! lol Movin' on...here is Dayle with her FAVORITE red outfit! The only thing we didn't find was the backpack...even looked on Ebay! Too bad! But she looks cute anyway, right? Dayle started 3rd grade today and is in Mrs. Sand's classroom. Love the high tops!
No! JC didn't start school today but he did have to take pics with the girls like every year past. He will be attending Sunnybrook Church's preschool called Sonshine Train Station this year. He calls it "Sonshine choo choo school"...lol They start in September. Hard to believe our boy is almost 4!
Here is our very tall 8th grader, B! Seriously! She grew a ton this summer! OK! So maybe not a ton but at least 3 inches. Brooke was lookin' forward to being an 8th grader but not the homework and getting out of bed early. She is, and always will be, my good sleeper!
And Lauren...with a chop chop haircut! Cute, isn't it? She cut off 3 inches this week and it looks great! Above she is showing her backpack off...I always take a front pic and a side pic so that we will remember the great backpacks they picked out. B and Lauren actually had these bags from last year too. They picked out the spendy ones and had to use them for 2 years as apposed to Dayle's "cheap" choices. Economics people!

And here they are...just so you know Reese was tied into her highchair eating pancakes while we took pics. Immediately after this shot was taken, we cleaned up the babe and headed to school. I dropped the middle school students off (wow! that sounds weird!) and drove to the elementary campus with Dayle. JC and Reese jumped into the stroller and we took a few more pics of Dayle and her classroom. Sure hope they had a great day! The house was really quiet and I seem to be runnin' out of energy from my early morning rise. I am thinkin' a batch of chocolate chip cookies sounds good! The kids will like them too! lol
