Here is Lauren blowing out her candles and starting her hair on fire! I cannot believe I got this shot on the camera as the flame was snuffed out as fast as it started. Scary! Guess we need a pony tail for her next birthday wishes. This was one of her many birthday celebrations. Her true birthday is Dec. 31 but with the move, we sure celebrated a lot more than normal. She had a friend party on Dec 5 in California and then moved to Iowa to celebrate with family.
Iowa has a lot of sunshine too...so a new pair of sunglasses are greatly needed for this coming summer. Of course, they have to be really, really cute ones too! Plus they came in a Billabong bag/purse which one of Lauren's fav stores!
I wonder what is in the box? Spanky got a lot of $$$ for her birthday which is just what she wanted. She is saving for her very own itouch...which (thanks to ebay) she officially WON last weekend. So her birthday is perfectly complete...itouch and all!
Cookies n cream anyone? Or maybe a slice of carrot cake? Very unique choices for a very unique gal, that's our Lauren!
Another birthday celebration with yet another cake...this one was a white cake but had a great color on it...GREEN!!!! Lauren's fav! (BTW, there are 11 candles on that green cake.)
This is the birthday girl on her actual birthday. We spent the night at King's Point in Storm Lake. It has an indoor water park attached to a hotel. Very fun and the perfect place to celebrate New Year's Eve...aka Lauren's bday! We had a lot of fun! It was a great place for family and we hope to do it again - soon!
