Christmas comes early

Why not? We decided to open the few Christmas gifts we had last night. With 2 bathed & ready for bed, it was a last minute decision. Seemed rather odd as we had no tree nor any festive decorations to set the mood. However, the 2008 Christmas season has begun in California and will conclude in Iowa with our families next week.
Reese had a lot of fun with the leftover tissue paper and gift wrap. She even tried to eat some!
Aquadoodle that everyone had fun with!
Some bling for Dayle and it is all her own! She loves earrings lately and these were the best because they were blue too! Her "now" favorite color!
Lauren helpin' herself instead of Reese at the moment. I think this gift will hold all her birthday money that she is savin' for an iTouch! You go girl! Her birthday is the 31st and she can't wait!
Did you say something? I shouldn't eat this box? Why not?
Lauren was a huge help with Reese. It just seems like yesterday she was the one needing the help. Reese looks so much like her it takes me back in time....
At least Reese is lookin' at the camera, right? Not sure what she is thinking...Lauren seems pleased with the gift though!
Brooke lovin' the box and hasn't even seen what is inside. It's from Hollister and with B, you can't go wrong shoppin' at Hollister!
Lauren thinking how come mine doesn't say Hollister? She got South Pole...and was very pleased too!
Dayle's sweatsuit from the Nike Outlet...JC got a red one like it and Reese's was lilac with some bling! All the kids got sweatsuits for Christmas as we will need some warm fuzzy clothes over the next cold winter months in Iowa...
Doc's gift from Santa...return address labels that have the Iowa State University logo. They are for the new house in Iowa and we can't wait to use them. I think Santa surprised Doc...that doesn' t happen very often.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the kids in front of the fireplace with Doc behind me trying to get Reese and Jaron's attention...Jaron seems to be laughing and Reese is in shock but it was the best of the 5 I took...kids!
