JC received his Preschool diploma from Mrs. Grant last week. He was very nervous as he sat in his chair and picked at his fingernails. But he did great singing his songs and smiling for the camera. Congrats JC! TK at Sunnybrook Sonshine Station next fall for this little man.

A few of Jaron's classmates after the ceremony...Dylan, Matthew, Gavin, Carson, Jaron and Meadow. My boy is tall!!!?

On to Lauren's track and field day at SBL...above she is winning the 400 and below she is anchoring the 4x100 for a come from behind 3rd place finish. She is looking forward to next year as she will be in 7th grade at Mater Dei Nativity Center where they have a few more track meets. We are too!!

This is after Brooke's 8th grade graduation/awards ceremony yesterday. As you can tell, Jaron is ready to go home! We sat for one hour in the gym and he did pretty well. Reese got taken out of the ceremony so she was much more willing to look at the camera! My pics from the gym were really dark. Sorry all!

At our house after the awards ceremony with Grandpa and Grandma Bleeker. We had Mexicorn (thanks Jules for that awesome family favorite CA recipe!) with Fruit Pizza, Fresh lemonade and Iced coffee. Good times with good food!

Grandma Harskamp also made it down for the events. Grandpa H was still teaching in Sioux Center. We missed him but also feel for him as they have a week left of school. We were thankful for the family that was there!

B's accomplishments that were read at the ceremony. I love how she is in everything from art to band to sports to Math bee! You could say she is as busy as a B!!! Congratulations Brooke!! She will be attending Bishop Heelan High school next fall...graduating class of 2014!! Go Crusaders!!

Since Brooke is going to Washington DC next week with her ((previous)) CVC classmates, we only got her a "little" something to help with the festivities. She has always wanted a popcorn maker for her room and so we found the perfect one for her. Air popped popcorn in a cool maker that matches her room...awesome!

Now he smiles!!! BTW, the popcorn was good!

Dayle had a game after the 8th grade graduation so we finished our day on the softball fields. ((Love it!!!)) She has been playing catcher and is doing rather well. I think she likes the action that a catcher gets as opposed to right field where she had been last year! Of course, it hasn't gotten Iowa humid or really hot yet. Then we will see if she wants to put on all that gear! heehee Dayle will be attending Mater Dei Immaculate Conception Center as a 4th grader next fall.

So, that is our past week in review. As of today, school is out and we are ready for a summer break. However, when I look at my June calendar...it seems rather full. Hey! It's all good! At least we can sleep past 6:30 and there are no spelling words and flash cards to do! Have a blessed Memorial Day weekend!
